Social mobility in Jersey

This report explains the concept of social mobility, drawing on UK and international evidence, and brings together detailed research on the impact of high housing costs on social mobility and the provision of university education on-Island and extracts from relevant reports on othercareas relevant to social mobility – the school system, early years provision and action that employers can take. The research has been overseen by a Social Mobility Working Group convened by the Policy Centre Jersey and has benefitted from ideas and comments by members of the Centre’s Advisory Council and other people with an interest in the subject.
